Division

In this year, 2024, the rescue division is focusing on helping the staff and the shelter dogs at the City of Bakersfield Animal Care Center on Mt. Vernon Ave.

With the help of the Bear Valley community, we have so far provided the dogs with 100 kongs, water pails and 150 shelter dog beds, as well as blankets, sheets and towells.

Volunteers also decorate the shelter for holidays and seasons as well as walk some shelter dogs on a regular basis.

More volunteers are always welcome to help.

Some activities taken place in 2022 and 2023.
